Inspecting Your Order
We encourage customers to inspect their order immediately upon delivery. Any concerns related to condition, damage, defects, or shipment accuracy must be identified and reported within the timeframes outlined below to be eligible for review.
Reporting Issues Upon Delivery
If you believe you have received an item that is mis-shipped, defective, or damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To report an issue, email dreamytailshop@gmail.com and include:
· Your order number
· A brief description of the issue
· Clear photos of the product and its packaging
Delivery concerns, visible damage, manufacturer defects, or damaged boxes must be reported within this 48-hour window to be considered.
Return Window
Our return window is 7 days, beginning from the date the carrier marks the order as delivered.
To be eligible for a return:
· Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
· All original labels, tags, and packaging must be intact
· Proof of purchase is required
Return requests submitted outside this window will not be accepted.
How to Start a Return
All returns and exchanges require prior authorization.
To request a return or exchange, please contact dreamytailshop@gmail.com within the return window and include:
· Order number
· Proof of purchase
· Reason for the return or exchange
· Photos of the item, if the request relates to condition, damage, or defect
If your request is approved, you will receive detailed return instructions and routing information. Authorization is required so we can provide the correct return routing and instructions to our designated return facilities.
Items sent without authorization, or sent directly to manufacturers or fulfillment partners, cannot be received or processed. Please ensure emails from dreamytailshop@gmail.com are received, and check spam or junk folders if you do not see our response.
Restocking Fees & Return Shipping
All approved returns and exchanges are subject to an 18% fee based on the product price, which covers original shipping charges, return shipping costs, and applicable restocking and handling expenses.
· The fee includes the original outbound shipping cost and the return shipping label
· Any applicable fee will be deducted from the approved refund amount
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
· Sale or final-sale items
· Items that are used, washed, altered, or not in original condition
· Items that are damaged or missing parts due to customer handling
Determinations of whether an item has been used or altered are made following inspection by Dreamy Tail. Items showing signs of use, wear, odor, hair, soiling, or alteration are not eligible for return or refund.
Condition Review
All returned items are inspected upon receipt to determine resale eligibility.
If an item is determined, following inspection, to be not resellable due to use, damage, missing components, excessive wear, odor, or other condition issues, the item will not be eligible for a refund.
In such cases, the customer will be notified by email and provided with an inspection summary. The customer may request that the item be returned at their expense. If no response is received within 72 hours of notification, the item may be discarded or donated at Dreamy Tail’s discretion, and no refund will be issued.
Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Shipments
Please ensure that all shipping details are accurate at checkout. Once an order has entered processing and the fulfillment request has been submitted, address modifications can no longer be made.
Orders delivered to an incorrect address, refused by the recipient, or deemed undeliverable are not eligible for a full refund. If a return is accepted, any refund issued will be subject to an 18% fee based on the product price, which includes original shipping charges, return shipping costs, and applicable restocking or handling fees. This amount will be deducted from the approved refund, if applicable. In certain cases, no refund may be available if the shipment cannot be recovered.
Return Shipping Responsibility
Returned items must be shipped using the return label provided by Dreamy Tail, which the customer is responsible for printing and affixing to the package. All returns must be sent in accordance with the return instructions provided at the time of authorization.
Once the return shipment is tendered to the carrier, Dreamy Tail is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments, and refunds are contingent upon successful delivery and inspection of the returned item.
Refund Processing
Once a return is received, it will be inspected by our specialists. Inspection may take up to 14 days from receipt.
If approved:
· Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days
· Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund
If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval, please contact dreamytailshop@gmail.com.
Stolen Packages
Dreamy Tail is not responsible for packages reported lost or stolen after the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout.
If you believe your package has been stolen, we recommend contacting the carrier directly to initiate a claim.
Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to:
1. Request a return for the original item
2. Once approved, place a new order for the desired item
All exchanges are subject to the same 18% fee based on the product price, which includes original shipping charges, return shipping costs (using a return label provided by Dreamy Tail and printed by the customer), and applicable restocking or handling fees. Any applicable fee will be deducted from the approved refund, if applicable.
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled prior to processing by contacting dreamytailshop@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Once an order has entered processing—meaning the fulfillment request has been submitted—it can no longer be canceled. At this stage, the order is considered fulfilled, and any cancellation request will be handled as a return, subject to the same 18% fee based on the product price, which includes original shipping charges, return shipping costs (using a return label provided by Dreamy Tail), and applicable restocking or handling fees.
Fair Use of Returns
We reserve the right to limit or refuse returns from customers who abuse or violate this policy, including but not limited to:
· Excessive return requests
· Returning items not in original condition
· Returning non–Dreamy Tail products
· Sending returns to unauthorized locations
This policy may be amended at any time without prior notice.
